Parting Notes

Some useful information to help you continue using Paradigm C++ into the future.

  • Why is Paradigm Systems closing?
The embedded x86 market has been declining for many years and we are the last to close our doors. We have been delivering quality PC-based x86 development tools for over 30 years but we are now old and tired and it is time to pull the plug.

Going forward we will keep this web site up as long as possibe to allow for software downloads but we no longer have any phones, fax, or mailing address for you to stay in touch with us. This web site is mirrored at paradigmtools.com in case someone purchases the devtools.com domain name.
  • What about my hardware dongles?
Modified files have been developed to allow Paradigm C++ to run without a dongle. Given the age of the software it strongly recommended you move your development tools to a virtual machine to allow use with future versions of Windows. You know you have Paradigm C++ running on some version Windows, don't risk future problems by not having a backup development strategy.

If you are using Paradigm C++ 6.0 then you must have a USB dongle to install the software but once installed it can be run without a dongle. If you are using Paradigm C++ 7.0 then no dongle is needed to install and with the updated ADMIN.DLL file it can also run without a dongle.
  • Where can I download software and files?
Visit the Download page for access to legacy software and files.

Be sure to download a copy of Paradigm C++ 7.0 even if you are continuing to use Paradigm C++ 6.0, it is much more compatible with Windows 7 through Windows 10 and has some bug fixes and features (such as support for older versions of the C/C++ compiler).- cut down the development time with drag-and-drop website builder. • Can I get technical support?
There is no longer any regular technical support for Paradigm C++ but you can try sending an email and you might get lucky and receive a reply.  Check oout the Technical Support link for the details.
